Divorce Financial Planners
Horsham, PA - September, 2010 - John F. Maloney, CPA, CVA, CFF, Jeff Helphrey, CPA, CVA, and Eric Seidman, MBA presented “The Effects of Business Valuations on Marital Dissolutions” to the Association of Divorce Financial Planners Philadelphia Chapter on July 22 in Fort Washington. Maloney, Helphrey, and Seidman are professionals from Wouch, Maloney & Company in Horsham.
The ADFP is an association of professionals, such as attorneys, accountants and mediators, who assist individuals to attain equitable terms for a marital dissolution.
“There are many reasons a business owner may need to know the value of his company, including for purposes of marital dissolution,” says Maloney. “It is important to have a Certified Valuation Analyst involved in this process so that all sides can reach a fair conclusion.”
