Hal Margolit, CPA, MST Nominated to Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Bucks County

Horsham, PA - February, 2010 - Hal S. Margolit, CPA, MST has been nominated to the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County. The mission of Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County is to build affordable homes, better lives, stronger families, and safer communities through partnerships with people and organizations throughout Bucks County.

As a member of the Board of Directors, Margolit will be responsible for fundraising and governance, as well as community outreach and education about the mission of the organization. He served as Treasurer of the Board of Directors several years ago, and has since been a member of the Advisory Board.

"I am honored to serve another term on the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors," says Margolit. "This organization provides local families with the most basic human need of shelter. I am happy to be part of that in any capacity."

Margolit earned a bachelor's in business administration from Temple University, and a master's of science in taxation from Drexel University. As a Tax Manager at Wouch, Maloney & Co., LLP, he specializes in tax planning and compliance for businesses and individuals. Throughout his career, Margolit has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including real estate, manufacturing, retail and not-for-profit groups. He is currently a resident of Doylestown, Bucks County.
